PERSONAL
ASSESSMENT...
I
started playing at the age of fifteen after pestering parents
for years to buy me my first drum kit. My first band was called
"Sweet Poisen", and then I moved on to join "Arcana".
I
gigged regulary throughout the West Midlands area with these
bands getting a good grounding for better things. It is really
essential to get experience and play live, that is where a musician
thrives in front of an audience.
I
met Lee through an advert in a local newspaper, and got the
Cloven Hoof drummer post by beating off 55 other would be contenders.
Mr Payne and I gelled straight away and we started to rebuild
the band from scratch after the original dummer and guitarist
had left.
By
the time we had auditioned Woody and Russ, Lee and I had already
secured a record deal with FM Revolver, and the rest as they
say is history!
